Volunteer

Volunteers are the heartbeat that keeps the Food Bank running. Contact Makayla Esposito, our Volunteer Coordinator, at makayla@pmsc-dtfb.org to learn more about individual or group volunteer opportunities.

We have a number of volunteer positions available:

Grocery Distribution – Volunteer shifts for grocery distribution are on Tuesdays and Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. Volunteers help prepare the distribution line, assist clients with food, and organizing our warehouse.  This job is GREAT for groups; we can accommodate up to 12 people per shift.

Food Link – Food Link volunteers get the unique experience of exploring Pike Place Market and meeting the generous produce and food vendors of the Market who donate each morning to the food bank.
